Resin Moon
PRESS KIT
Known by his stage name of Resin Moon, electronic producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Dave Crowe hails from the desert town of Alice Springs located in Central Australia.
A lifelong musician, Crowe began experimenting with beats and electronic production at the age of 16, and in 2013, his track "Awake" won the NT Song of the Year award and was picked up by a number of triple j DJs, effectively launching his career. In 2014 he went on to land songs on major international T.V shows “Akward” (MTV) and “Made in Chelsea” (UK Channel 4) and a soon to be released U.S feature film "Grounded".
In 2016 his self-released single "Salt" went on to win another NT Song of the Year award and reached over 1 million streams on Spotify and Apple music combined. He signed a publishing deal with Gaga Music and a distribution deal with Believe to release his debut EP, also titled “Salt".
Arriving on his own label Sing Hum, the EP featured collaborations with notable Northern Territory artists Broadwing, Xavia and Ed Francis and was followed up by a national headline tour.
A year later, in 2017 Resin Moon won the triple j unearthed prize to play Bass In The Grass festival, following up with a sold out Australian tour supporting Sydney artists Boo Seeka, then landing a showcase at BigSound.
In November Crowe will release the Nothing To See single, in advance of his debut album, due for release in early 2019.

The AU Review
“Dressed in a sort of ‘bio-hazard’ suit and singing through a voice synthesiser at times, Resin Moon captivated the Railway Club crowd with his electronica and slick moves. It is hard to command that sort of attention as a soloist at the best of times and Resin Moon did it with ease.”

Live Performance Reviews
14 OCTOBER 2017, SOLBAR, SUNSHINE COAST
Competing against a Midnight Oil concert 20 minutes up the road, Sydney duo Boo Seeka held their own with a sold out performance at Solbar.
First act to get the crowd buzzing for the night was Alice Springs musician Resin Moon AKA Dave Crowe. The producer walked out onto the stage looking like an astronaut who had just arrived from space; all that was missing was the helmet. Crowe brought along some funky electronic tunes and quirky beats with his first track Salt. The rocket man finished his set off with his track Feels that left us with nothing but good feelings.

8 OCTOBER, MANNING BAR, SYDNEY
The night opened with Resin Moon, an enthusiastic, spirited one-man band styled in a white lab coat, ripping up feet moving, synthy dance beats to an otherwise laid back early crowd. With a solid set of original tunes, Resin Moon also did an impressive rendition of Daft Punk’s ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’, with the use of a talk box that could of fooled anyone into thinking Daft Punk was in the house.

December 18, 2016, The Railway Club, DARWIN
Alice Springs-based award winning electronic music artist Resin Moon (aka Dave Crowe) launched his captivating EP ‘Salt’ at the Railway Club in Darwin on Friday December 10 to a spellbound audience.
Resin Moon was supported by two of his peers in the NT EM scene – Broadwing (Ben Allen) with his hauntingly transcendent voice and guitar work and producer Pulzanti opening the show with some slick tracks to get things moving.
Dressed in a sort of ‘bio-hazard’ suit and singing through a voice synthesiser at times, Resin Moon captivated the Railway Club crowd with his electronica and slick moves. It is hard to command that sort of attention as a soloist at the best of times and Resin Moon did it with ease.
Having performed the launch in Alice Springs and now Darwin, Resin Moon’s tour continues on through the eastern States.

September 14, Singapore, Music Matters Aussie Showcase
With the conference over it was onto the live music of the night with the annual Aussie BBQ at Millian being one of the evening’s biggest attractions. Run for six years at Music Matters by Sounds Australia, the event serves as a showcase opportunity for the official and unofficial showcasing Australian artists at the festival, with eight diverse artists lighting up the stage tonight. Indigenous act The Merindas – who started as a Motown tribute act and are now creating dance music of their own – were a late addition to the lineup, kicking off the event with two tracks, as was Alice Springs’ Dave Crowe, who performed as Resin Moon. His ethereal vocals sat over his live beats and keys, in a brief but powerful set that included “Salt”, which won NT Song of the Year earlier this year.
