Resin Moon Oscillations
Resin Moon's debut album Oscillations will be released in February 2019.
The Alice Springs based producer/multi-instrumentalist has been busy in the studio since winning the NT Song of the Year and self-releasing his debut EP Salt, which had over a million streams on Apple Music and Spotify.
Oscillations sees Resin Moon, who's real name is Dave Crowe, moving deeper into the lush, experimental alt-pop he has been celebrated for. In Less Becomes More he sings about themes of minimalism and silence, before shifting dimensions into the future-pop gem Everything You Need.
"I find my songwriting reflects what's going on in my life at the time. Most of these songs have been written during a massive transformation in my life and thinking. I've been reading and thinking about philosophy and meaning and the need to ask the deeper questions while we get so caught up in the details of our hectic lives," said Dave.
These themes run through the whole LP, which is offset beautifully by layers of tape-loop synths and some seriously punchy electronic drums.
The album will be available from Early 2019 via Sing Hum Records / Believe Digital.
Resin Moon will be touring the album nationally throughout December:
7th December Alice Springs: Epilogue Rooftop, with Xavia
20th December Melbourne: Boney, with Josh the Cat
14th December Brisbane: TBC
15th December Sydney: TBC
